Catalyzing leaders from the church, Christian agencies and the market place to impact their cities together through the gospel.
African Enterprise is currently partnering with a number of other organizations including the Association of Evangelicals in Africa and the New York City Leadership Center to rally ministry practitioners from diverse fields towards the call to reach the cities of Africa with the gospel, under the Movement Day umbrella.
Movement Day is a gathering of ministry practitioners in local churches, Christian agencies or in the market place (government or the private sector) who are passionate for the transforming power of the gospel to be experienced in our cities. It acts as a lounge (platform for interaction, information exchange, mutual sharing and encouragement) where diverse entities come to “see and share” what God is doing in and through various individuals and institutions. These exciting and enriching encounters act as a watershed (catalyst) for greater and faster advancement of the Gospel.
No one church, individual or organization has what it takes to find solutions to the “stubborn facts” plaguing our cities, such as crime, poverty, spiritual apathy, struggling educational systems, unemployment, etc. Movement Day, therefore, seeks to respond to this challenge by:
“Multiplying the Impact of One through the Unity of Many”.
1. Movement Day East African Cities’ Gathering: October 3rd, 2017; Nairobi – Kenya.
2. Movement Day Africa Gathering: August, 23rd-24th, 2018; Nairobi – Kenya.
